Volunteer Medical Team
We need doctors, nurses, and sonographers to meet the ever-growing need to provide medical services for our clients. If you're interested in being a part of our volunteer medical team, please contact Brynda Williams, RN, at 286-4673.

Medical Director
J. R. Reynolds, M.D.
In July 2007, Dr. Reynolds agreed to volunteer as the Medical Director of Life Choices. An internist and long-time supporter of the ministry, we thank the Lord for his willingness to serve Him in this capacity. Life Choices operates under Dr. Reynolds's medical license.

Nurse
Ashley Mullins, RN
1) How
I found out about Life Choices...I found out about Life Choices through great friends
who also work and volunteer at Life Choices.
2) I am interested in serving because...I want to help expecting mothers in this
experience by showing them their baby. By seeing
this tiny life makes it all “real” to them and that life begins at
conception. 3) A few facts about
myself...I graduated
from Dyersburg State in 2002 with an Associate of Applied Science degree
in nursing. I have been married to Gene for 9
years and we have a son, Mason(5), and a little girl expected to arrive
in July. I work at DRMC and Riverside Surgery
Center.
4)
Other areas of interest...I
am a member of First Baptist Church Dyersburg and love spending time
with my family. I enjoy scrapbooking, working out
in the yard, fishing, and traveling.

Sonographer
Bridgett Hopgood, RDMS
1) How I found out about Life Choices...While scrapbooking with Reni, she told me about Life Choices.
2) I am interested in serving because...I am a trained ultrasonographer by profession and wanted to share this experience with expecting mothers. I believe that once an expecting mom sees her baby, the pregnancy becomes more real to her.
3) A few facts about myself...I graduated from Union City HIgh School in 1987, graduated from Jackson State Community College in 1989 with an Associate of Science in Radological Technology, then completed the ultrasound course in 1996. Benny and I have been married for eighteen and a half years and have five beautiful children.
4) Other areas of interest...I am an active member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ, where we serve on the youth advisory council. I am involved with Girl Scouts and volunteer at Dyersburg Primary School. I am an avid gardener and reader.
Nurse
Kim Hampton, RN
Kim Hampton joined Life Choices as a volunteer peer
counselor in October, 2006. A labor and delivery nurse, Kim soon became
our childbirth educator, and was hired in July as our Nurse Manager.
Married to Jeff, who is a Family Nurse Practioner with MedSouth, they
attend First Christian Church, and have three children, Natalie,
Matthew, and Emma Claire. Kim's last day as Nurse Manager was Thursday,
October 29. We thank the Lord for her willingness to continue serving
Him through Life Choices as a volunteer.

Nurse
Nicole Curtis, RN
1) How I found out
about Life Choices: I attended
the first informational meeting at First Baptist Church in the fall of
1999.
2) I am interested in serving because...I have a passion for helping moms understand that
life begins at conception and showing them how they can choose life
which God has created. My passion for centers like Life Choices started
when I was in junior high, and my mom volunteered at a crisis pregnancy
center in Tupelo, Mississippi.
3) A few facts about
myself: Graduated from the
University of Alabama in Birmingham with a B.S.N. I’ve been married to
Taylor for eleven years, and we have two daughters, Emilee, (8) and
Eliza, (5). I work at Riverside Surgery Center and have also taught
childbirth classes at the hospital for seven years. I’m also currently
teaching breastfeeding classes there.
4) Other areas of
interest: We are members of First Baptist Church and love
spending time with family. I enjoy music, snow-skiing, being outside,
and visiting my parents in Gulf Shores, AL. I also love Diet Dr. Pepper
and chocolate.
