1) How I found about Life Choices...I was introduced to Life Choices at a Women’s Ministry meeting at my church.

2) I am interested in serving because...The extent of my volunteering at present is in the office and helping clean the office.  Even though I don’t counsel, I do have first contact with the ladies.  To see them walk out of the clinic with a much better countenance than when they went in for counseling or an ultrasound is so rewarding.  In many cases, I see hope on their faces rather than despair.  The fact that so many of these ladies receive Christ as their Savoir is awesome.  Also, abortion touched someone in my immediate family and I can still see the repercussions of this event so many years later.  I love and care about these ladies with the love of Christ and I appreciate the honor of serving them in whatever manner I can.

3) A few fact about myself...I have a background in nursing.  My main area of nursing was first assistant to the surgeon I worked for 27 years.  I have been married to my husband, Ray, for 42 years.  We have one son, Kevin, three grandsons Brandon and Brent Gilliland and Mark Graves.  We have one great grandson, Bryce Anothony Shell, and we have not had the honor of seeing or knowing him.  I can only pray that God will change their minds one day.  He is nineteen months old.

4) Other areas of interest...I am a member of Dyersburg Assembly of God.  I love my fellowship and I do a lot of cooking for the church family.

3) A few fact about myself...I have been married to Clark for 9 years and have a daughter Ave – 3 years old.  I have been an English teacher (high school and middle school) for 6 years and coached volleyball for 7 years (high school and middle school)

4) Other areas of interest...I attend First Christian Church.

1) How I found about Life Choices...I heard about Life Choices at church and read about it “somewhere.”

2) I am interested in serving because...I felt a need to help.

3) A few fact about myself...I am married.  I have a daughter who is a corrections officer and a son in the national guard going to Iraq in March.  I have two granddaughters and am Catholic.  I have worked with children with special needs.  I like to garden, read, learn about my faith, enjoy roller coasters and being with friends.

4) Other areas of interest...I am a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and a member of Newcomers to meet others.  I moved here in February 2008.

1) How I found about Life Choices:

Years ago there was a Concerned Women of America group that met in Dyersburg to pray about a Crisis Pregnancy Center and I went with a group to tour the one in Jackson - so I've been keeping up with the progress of this one from inception.

2) I am interested in serving because...

I believe that if you want to discourage abortion it's a must to offer hope and help and love.

3) A few fact about myself:

I'm married to Roger (when I was 16 he was 19) soon to be 43 years.  I have three daughters and nine grandchildren - 6 grandsons and 3 granddaughters from their first year in college to the first grade.

4) Other areas of interest:

I'm a member of Tucker Street Church and I've always loved nursery and children's ministries along with women's ministries.  I love to read and collect books.  I also love to garden.  I have five or six grand-dogs!

1) How I found about Life Choices...I found out about Life Choices through word of mouth.

2) I am interested in serving because...I want to help other people and do something good for God.

3) A few fact about myself...I experienced an unplanned pregnancy at 14 years of age.

4) Other areas of interest...I am a member at Junction Church of God.

1) How I found about Life Choices...I found out about Life Choices through a church group.

2) I am interested in serving because...I know that life is important and we are all made for a reason.

3) A few fact about myself...I am a minister of the gospel .  I teach and sing in church choir.

4) Other areas of interest..I am a member of Word of Faith Church under the leadership of Bishop B.J. Nesbit Junior.  I teach Sunday School and the youth department.  I am over the Intercessory Choir where I have written a book.  I write poems and speak them to audio recordings sometimes.

1) How I found about Life Choices...I found out about Life Choices at the 2009 Dyer County Fair.

2) I am interested in serving because...I know this ministry glorifies God and is a blessing to women.

3) A few fact about myself...I’ve been married since November of 1997 and have one toddler son and a baby girl on the way!

4) Other areas of interest...I enjoy painting, reading, spending time with my family, and blogging.  We are new to the area and have been attending First Baptist Dyersburg.

1) How I found about Life Choices...I had heard about Life Choices at church when different volunteers would speak about the organization.  I did not know about Womb until we lost our baby and received a packet in the mail from Life Choices with a book and some remembrance items.

2) I am interested in serving because...I feel we are all called to serve.  I know God allowed me to go through the experience for a purpose.  Nothing happens to us that God cannot use for His glory. I believe He helped so that with His strength I may be able to help someone who is going through a similar situation.

3) A few fact about myself...I grew up in Dyer County.  I accepted Christ when I was a young girl.  Married my high school sweetheart, Jason.  We have one beautiful son, Dalton.  We also have a daughter, Abagail Brooke, and a miscarried baby awaiting our arrival in heaven.  I’m a teacher’s assistant at Trimble School.

4) Other areas of interest...I am a member of First Baptist Newbern where I work with Mission Friends and Bibledrill team.
